An estimated 200,000 people participate in Metro Cruise® related events throughout the area! The biggest and busiest sites of Metro Cruise are at the MAIN EVENT sites. There are two of them – Rogers Plaza mall in Wyoming, and Woodland Mall in Kentwood.

This year Metro Cruise has booked 28 food vendors, making it one of the biggest mobile food events in West Michigan. From food trucks, food trailers, concessionaires, we have the food and favorites you know and love. Wood-fired pizza, slow-smoked BBQ, ethnic foods, authentic tacos, tamales, sausages, corn dogs, elephant ears, funnel cakes, and much more. Park at any other participating site on 28th Street.

This incredibly popular Michigan car show is located between Cascade and Grandville along 28th Street but the concentration of the vehicles are in the middle of this region. The 28th Street Metro Cruise is roaring into Grand Rapids, bringing so many amazing cars, horsepower, and plenty of family fun on August 25 & 26. Collector Car Row, our famous lineup of 200+ show cars right along 28th Street at the Rogers Plaza Main Event site in Wyoming, are reserved spots during Metro Cruise® weekend. “There are now more ways than ever to enjoy your favorite auto event. The locations are in addition to the two main event locations at Roger's Plaza and the Woodland Mall.
We know the destinations you'll be visiting and what there is to see, do and experience. We offer you a variety of excursions to choose from, in every port you'll visit. Pay airfare for one guest, and you'll automatically lock-in roundtrip flights for two. Secure these savings online by choosing your nearest airport in step one of your cruise booking, and enjoy air-to-sea made easy. We'll coordinate your roundtrip flights, and transportation between the airport and cruise port. The 5th annual DYNO at Metro Cruise is scheduled and OPEN for signups!
The Metro Cruise will host five official sites with dozens of activities for kids and adults throughout the weekend. Activities include a climbing wall, a cornhole tournament, arts and crafts, paintball, and so much more. One thing that you’ll love about the Cruise – in addition to all of the awesome classic cars – is the multitude of businesses along 28th Street. There are dozens of hotels and restaurants throughout the area – lots of them right on 28th Street! Many of them have great specials for Metro Cruise visitors – be sure to ask. If you’d simply like to “cruise” 28th Street – no pre-registration is necessary!

Metro Cruise® is different than other car cruises – it is a 17 hour event over 2 days. Collector cars cruise on 28th Street continuously during Metro Cruise® weekend. The most popular spots are the Main Event sites at Rogers Plaza in Wyoming, and Woodland Mall in Kentwood. Here, the show cars are stationary and attendees walk around and view them. Open hours are 2pm-9pm on Friday, 11am-9pm on Saturday.
