Originally named First Baptist Community Christian School, it was Charlotte County’s first Christian school. FCA is dedicated to providing its students with an educational program that is academically rigorous, culturally relevant and spiritually robust. FCA was established in 1983 by the First Baptist Church (now Family Church) of Port Charlotte, Florida. The church’s vision was to provide a Biblically integrated academic school for the children of Christian families in the area. Originally named First Baptist Community Christian School, it was Charlotte County’s first Christian school and served students in Kindergarten through eighth grade. Since FCA was established in 1983 by the First Baptist Church (now Family Church) of Port Charlotte, Florida.
